In HEHD 8030 - Creative and Ethical Leadership, I worked in a group to present on a real life case study that reflects a challenge facing leaders today based on report written by the Center for Creative Leadership. My group researched a case study emphasizing "building relationship skills." We found an article that discussed how relationships enhances and encourages leadership development. This assignment made me not only reflect and appreciate the concept of networking, but also see the importance of having peer and familial support in my job and journey to be a leader. I think it is important to show appreciation to those that have supported you along the way, and be sure to support others in their leadership journey.
