In HEHD 8030 - Creative and Ethical Leadership, we were tasked with writing a Leadership Case Study. I chose to research and write about the organizational restructure and changes occuring at the Arthritis Foundation this year (2015). The Arthritis Foundation is working toward creating a centralized model and emphasizing a unified organization. This change dissovles a current regional structure governed by several different boards of directors. This topic is close to me, and was very interesting to use literature and leadership research to assess whether the organization is making good and ethical decisions. I'm happy to report that the direction the Arthritis Foundation is headed is backed by lots of literature on organizational restructures.
