In HEHD 8080 - Grantsmanship, I wrote a grant asking for $10,000 to help fund Camp Cruz, a resident camp run by the Arthritis Foundation. I have a lot of grant writing experience through my current job, however, this class taught me to look at the grant writing process differently and enabled me to write a few well-recieved grants for work. I liked taking a further look at the mission of the organization as well as the new branding and tagline: Champion of Yes, and translating them into an persuasive argument for funding. This class truly enhanced my grantwriting and presentation skills.
